REHABILITATION PROJECTS
Many ower / developers of older buildings are not a
candidate to meet Department of Interior standards as
they often are cost prohibitive initially. However,
they need the TAD tax and facility benefits to generate
enough cash flow to justify making necessary improvements
that will allow them to preserve historic elements of
the building for restoration at a later date. Historic
elements can actually be encapsulated behind the removable
Zip-Wall™ so they can easily phase in their restoration
as cash flow increases. Furthermore, they are often
seeking LEED accreditation and TAD will help them obtain
that goal.
